Dementia Solutions is a company based in Vancouver, BC that provides education and support to professional and frontline caregivers, assisted living and long-term care homes, in-home care companies, and families living with dementia in their day-to-day lives. Their mission is to be a true leader in shifting the way dementia-related behaviours are managed by both professional and family caregivers all over Canada and even beyond.
Founder Karen Tyrell chose KIAI to be their agency for a major rebranding. We created a new logo, new brand guidelines, and a new website for them.
The logo: Dementia Solutions logo has the forget-me-not flower as the main symbol and a heart representing the love and care they put in every action taken, creating a sense of hope and guidance which is represented by the star. The logo also carries what would resemble five people gathered together, symbolizing the five different ways they support communities: Education, Support for Health Care Providers, Support for Families, Dementia-Related Tools, and Dementia Awareness.
The colour palette contains shades of blue, which represent trust, peace, calmness, and health. The yellow reflects warmth, positivity, and compassion.
The website: They already had a big website full of courses, products for sales and some content. This was the most challenging website project we ever had. Our main focus was to provide them with a new fresh look that would be visually appealing for different target audiences such us as frontlines caregivers, families and even seniors that want to be more informed about dementia. We created a different flow for the students that wanted to purchase courses, as well as new content for different service pages.
We wish everyone in the Dementia Solutions team the best of luck in their wonderful mission to bring more awareness about dementia and appreciate them trusting us with their brand!
